PENTECOST
The Holy Spirit filled the disciples and helped them to speak different languages so that they could spread the Good News to the world.
A gust of wind came into the room and tongues of fire sat on their heads.
Who was there?
The Holy Spirit, the disciples, Mary the mother of Jesus and people from all over the world.
Why did it happen?
So the disciples could spread the Good News around the world. The Holy Sprit was a signal to them that Jesus is always with them.
Jesus said that God would send the Holy Spirit to them.
When did it happen?
Fifty days after Easter
Where did it happen?
It happened upstairs in the same room of a house where they had the last supper. The house was in Jerusalem.
